In the age of digitization, professions are changing quickly. According to PwC, many roles disappear completely, while new ones emerge from nowhere. The discrepancy between the existing skills of people and the so-called "future skills" that are required for jobs in the digital world represents a particular challenge of our time.

Together with the respective experts from different professional sectors, central questions like "Which professional fields have already changed or will continue to change?" and "Which new agile competencies and values are being sought?" will be discussed interactively.

What will be your take-aways:

• Experience reports from practitioners who provide information on current developments in their specific professional sector / individual function and discuss the agile “future skills and values” in their professional area.
• Examples / exercises on agile “future skills and values”; e.g. the career square exercise to determine the gap between actual skills and values and the targeted future set-up.
• Options of how to further develop the targeted “future skills and values”.

You have already registered for the "Crack the Case" training course or you are already familiar with solving case interviews in theory. You may already have case interview experience, but would like more routine. Then this workshop is the right place for you.
Together with a former consultant, you will complete a real case interview in a small group and also have the opportunity to take part in a 1: 1 simulation and thus gain valuable experience in dealing with nervousness and the obstacles and surprises of a live interview. You will receive feedback and tips on:

• the structure of your approach
• your way of finding a solution
• difficult situations in the interview.

Do you want to work in consulting? Then be prepared to face some cases during the interview process.

During this workshop, a former consultant with a long track record in interviewing will show you how to

• tackle a case best;
• structure your approach;
• capture the complexity of the questions; and
• argue logically and stringently based on data and facts.

You will also have the chance to solve a case yourself and challenge your approach with the professional’s blueprint solution.

Are you a student from the newer EU countries or the non-EU/EFTA area? If you plan to work in Switzerland during your studies or after graduation, it is important to be familiar with the respective residence and employment laws.

This session will be delivered by Attorney at Law Nina Perch-Nielsen from Blue Lake Legal, a company focused on Swiss immigration and is specifically designed for students interested in living and working in Switzerland that currently do not possess a work permit.
